Coverage

WPDD defines the Western Pacific Region as the 37 countries and areas which make up the WHO Western Pacific Region plus two additional countries (Indonesia and Thailand) with diabetes associations which are members of the IDF Western Pacific Region. A total of 16 diabetes associations are members of the IDF, and 22 Pacific island countries and territories in the Region are member states of the SPC.

These 39 countries and areas comprise the sphere of responsibility of the WPDD.
